VEHICLE AUTOMATION: TSM ARIAMATIC 240

ROBOTECH has developed electronic control system and software for the Ariamatic 240 Urban Vacuum Cleaner by TSM – Technological Systems by Moro Srl.

TSM ARIAMATIC 240 is totally a new concept from the regular self propelled urban vacuum cleaners, able to change the way of cleaning urban areas and historic centers. In fact TSM ARIAMATIC 240 is the very first electric litter vacuum cleaner with the autonomous driving system, equipped with the innovative Follow Me system able to recognize and to automatically follow the operator along the day during the cleaning tasks in the city center.

Edutainment robot: I-Droid

When robotics educates and entertains at the same time, it’s known as Edutainment Robotics, where the technology is used for both amusement and for learning; not just in the field of robotics itself, but also for maths, computer science, physics, philosophy, etc.; available for schools and students at any level. I-Droid, the robot designed for DeAgostini, is the embodiment of this principle: on the one hand, the purpose of the do-it-yourself assembly kit and the work it involves was to teach about robots, what their main components are (control, sensors and actuators), how to program them and about the history of robots and the state-of-the-art of robots in the world today; on the other hand, I-Droid was created to interact with its users, to entertain and amuse them. It is a product for everyone and has been a worldwide success.

VEHICLE AUTOMATION: BOMAG COMPACTOR

ROBOTECH has developed a project in collaboration with Belvedere SpA at the landfill site in Peccioli (Pisa, Italy): the automatisation of a Bomag compactor, which after a simple process for defining the working area, can operate autonomously with remote monitoring. The project has made a clearly positive impact: savings (in terms of manual labour and fuel), optimisation of the task, operator re-training (leading to a less alienating job).
